The Champion Audi S4's had an open testing day on Thursday at Laguna
Seca, and the team used every minute to good advantage, working to get
the S4's comfortable on this extremely demanding circuit.
Paul Edwards, piloting the third S4 this weekend, got his first taste of
the Quattro SPEED GT, and was both impressed and impressive in his debut
runs.
All three drivers reported progress, but Laguna Seca has been one of the
more demanding tracks for the S4's, Michael Galati coming home just
tenth in 2001 after a rare (for him) off-course excursion while fending
off arch-rival PD Cunningham. |
