ADT/CHAMPION AUDI R8 TEAM PREPARES FOR THE 12 HOURS

The ADT/Champion Audi R8 racing team arrived at Sebring the Saturday prior
to the 12 Hours, for the team's scheduled IMSA Technical Inspection on Saturday
morning March 9th. The crew then spent the remainder of the weekend setting
up our paddock areas and doing final checks on the race car in preparation for
the first of three testing days on Monday the 11th.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday saw a total of five testing sessions, during
which the drivers familiarized themselves with the new car and repaved track,
and worked on setting up the ADT/Champion Audi R8 for Qualifying on Thursday.
Andy Wallace had previously driven the new R8 (chassis 505) during the Michelin
Tests in February after driving Champion's 2000-spec throughout the 2001 ALMS
season. Stefan Johansson was getting his first taste of the heavily revised
2001-spec Audi R8 after driving his own 2000-spec R8 in 2001, and Jan Lammers
got his first-ever experience behind the wheel of an Audi R8 during the test
days.
