2001 American Le Mans Series champion Emanuele Pirro swept the Team ADT Champion Racing Audi R8 to the fastest time in today’s (MON) unofficial tests at Sebring.

Pirro, of Italy, who won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2000, stopped the clocks at 1min 48.489secs around the 3.7-mile Florida track in preparation for this year’s 12 Hour race on Saturday.

JJ Lehto also drove the ADT Champion Audi although the team’s third driver, Stefan Johansson, returns to Sebring on Wednesday.

Two sessions are again scheduled for tomorrow (TUES) with official practice commencing on Wednesday.
