Cleveland, OH. (June 24, 2004) - After a three-month schedule break, the
American Le Mans Series will return to action this weekend with the running of
the American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio. For the first time since the Mobil 1 Twelve
Hours of Sebring in March (ADT Champion Racing finished 2nd), the professional
sports car racing series will host round two with a two-hour, 45-minute timed
event on Sunday, June 27, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

ADT Champion Racing, which finished third overall at Le Mans and was the
highest-finishing team from the ALMS, will seek the overall victory at Mid-Ohio
with an Audi R8 Prototype driven by Finland's JJ Lehto and Germany's Marco
Werner. Neither has ever driven at Mid-Ohio in a Prototype.

The American Le Mans Series is returning to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course after a
one-year absence due to scheduling conflicts. The 2.25-mile, 13-turn circuit
has been one of the classic road racing venues in North America for many years.
CBS Sports will have live coverage of the Mid-Ohio race from 2-4 p.m. (EDT),
while MotorsTV will have live flag-to-flag coverage in Europe. The American Le
Mans Series Radio Web will have live coverage of the race and of Saturday's
qualifying session online at www.americanlemans.com.

Marco Werner (Germany). "Mid-Ohio is a new track for me. I've heard it's
quite twisty with lots of hills and corners so it might suit our competitor's
cars more. I know the Dyson Team has tested a lot here so I think it's going
to be interesting between our car and their car. We'll find out soon!"

JJ Lehto (Finland). "I know this track from when I raced here in 2001 in a BMW
M3. I won that race and think I can do the same this weekend in the Audi R8.
It's a nice track and I know they've done some surface work to it since I was
last here. This is a good track for the Dyson cars, especially since they've
recently tested here. It's definitely going to be a tough fight."
