Round 6 is staged
at Road America, Elkhart Lake, on Sunday with Team ADT Champin Racing
needing to bounce back after last Sunday's Mosport disappointment
Brad Kettler, Team ADT Champion Racing’s Technical Director, is
relishing the challenge the high-speed Road America circuit is likely
to pose this weekend.
The
ultra-fast four-mile track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, made its
American Le Mans Series début last July and witnessed an Audi podium
sweep, with R8s filling the top-three positions.
The ADT
Champion Audi of Johnny Herbert and Stefan Johansson finished third in
last year’s 472-mile (4hr 15mins) race and while this year’s event on
Sunday is the regular duration of 165-minutes, Kettler is confident.
Brad commented: “Road America is one of my favorite tracks in the
United States. Its high speed and heavy braking zones will be well
suited to the ADT Audi R8. Especially after last Sunday’s
disappointment at Mosport, our team’s resolve is sure to be at it
highest level to score well at this beautiful track.”
