Michael Galati :
“Hopefully the disappointing start to my
title defense will change at Lime Rock. Being a two-race meet, these
races are very important for me personally as a driver but also Audi in
terms of Manufacturer points. We’ll leave the track on Monday night
with four races completed in the series so we must have some points in
the bag. It will be vitally important to stay out of trouble on
Saturday so that the car is undamaged for Monday’s race.”
Randy Pobst:
“Consistency is real important – can’t
afford any mistakes. Lime Rock has suited the Audis historically and
when I raced against Michael there last year, his Audi was stunning
through the downhill corner leading on to the straightaway – a section
which tends to be bumpy. Hopefully I’ll be able to use the
all-wheel-drive to my benefit this year. I’m obviously delighted with
how things have turned for me in the opening two races.
