Driver quotes:
Randy Pobst:
“The primary goal for this season has been to win the
Manufacturer’s Championship. So that is what I will try to do on
Sunday. We’ve been developing this car all season and I believe we
have a chance to do just that. The interesting thing is that no one
has seen or driven this track so there is very little information to
go by. It looks small and windy so it might favor the smaller,
lighter weight cars but until we get down there, we just don’t
know.”
Michael Galati:
“This is a great opportunity for us to race in a new country in
front of new fans. On paper the track looks like a handling track
so we’ll just have to see how well our RS 6’s do down there. Maybe
we’ll even get lucky and it will rain some. No matter what, Randy
and I are definitely going to try and get up on the podium again.”
